Charity fundraiser launched: "On Monday, Dubois spoke at City Hall for the launch of 'Red Shield Week,' the Salvation Army's annual spring fundraising drive. Organizers say this year's campaign is the largest in years, as the organization struggles to manage rising costs.

'I think people have taken us for granted,' said Maj. Len Millar, head of public relations for the Salvation Army. 'This campaign will help remind people of the need for all the services we provide and help fund those services.'"
