Croydon charity boss's chugger rage

Croydon charity boss's chugger rage: "Hard-sell tactics employed by national charities are siphoning money away from needy causes in Croydon.

This is the startling claim of long-standing chairman of the town's homeless charity Nightwatch.

Jad Adams, who has led the group for nearly 30 years, also lashed out at large charities frittering away donations on television advertising and employing chuggers, like those who frequent Croydon town centre."
