WalesOnline - News - Cardiff News - Street charity workers could face crackdown if public are ‘pestered’: "THEY are a familiar obstacle for thousands of shoppers and workers on their lunch breaks as they walk through Cardiff city centre.

But the so-called “chuggers” who fill Queen Street and stop passers-by asking them to donate cash to various causes could face a crackdown.

The Fundraising Standards Board for Wales yesterday pledged to investigate complaints if its member charities were accused of “pestering” the public."
