Golfers chip in $250k to help kids: "Last December, the Lucky Dippers decided to dedicate one of their monthly games to charity after learning from Straits Times editor Han Fook Kwang - who golfs with the group - about the plight of the children the fund helps.
On Tuesday, the golfers got together for a round at the Singapore Island Country Club, raising $250,000 for the fund, said Mr P.T. Hong, one of the organisers."
