Calgary announced as host city for We Day youth event in fall: In 2007, he created the massive youth empowerment event, We Day. And now, for the first time, youth in Calgary can attend We Day in their own backyard.
Calgary has been added as one of three new cities, alongside Ottawa and Halifax, to the eight We Day events across Canada. Expected to draw about 18,000 students, the event is taking place Oct. 24 at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
