Govt to dole out festival cash to flood victims | National: "KATHMANDU, SEP 28 - The Central Disaster Relief Committee (CDRC) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) on Saturday decided to provide additional relief amount worth Rs 3,000 and Rs 50 each to families affected by floods and landslides as festival allowances and daily living respectively.
A CDRC meeting, chaired by Home Minister Bamdev Gautam, agreed to provide financial assistance to the flood victims, particularly those living in the Mid-western and Far-western regions of the country, said Yadav Koirala, chief at the Disaster Management Division under the Home Ministry."
