HK Tycoons Defend Giant Gift to Harvard's Medical School -: "Harvard University received the largest financial gift in its history earlier in September when the Morningside Foundation, founded by brothers and Hong Kong developers Ronnie Chan Chi-chung and Gerald Chan Lok-chung, donated US$ 350 million to its School of Public Health.
Their generosity was widely applauded, but it also prompted some in China to wonder why they didn't donate the money to Chinese universities that desperately need it."
