Third Sector Video: Should fundraisers knock at homes that display no cold calling notices? | Third Sector: "The Institute of Fundraising has set up a working party to consider adding rules to the Code of Fundraising Practice about no cold calling signs, after a recent recommendation from the Fundraising Standards Board.
At the moment there is a mixed picture: some charities and agencies tell their door-to-door fundraisers not to knock at houses that display such signs, while others tell them to go ahead and knock in the hope the householder does not mean to exclude charities."
